Tis the season for pumpkins, apples, and pie everything!

Mmmm pie. My favorites include cherry pie and a good pumpkin pie with the perfect amount of spices. It’s a shame that pie’s only make their debut for the holidays but I guess that makes pie lovin’ peeps like you and I appreciate a good pie.

Like this pecan-coconut crusted dairy-free pumpkin pie. Yep, you heard me! It’s like a twist on the classic version of pumpkin pie. You might be thinking, “But it’s a classic Loriel, there’s no need to change it!” I can see how you can be concerned but I assure you, this twist will make you asking for more. The pecan and coconut really add a whole other dimension to it and the filling is just as creamy and lovely as your classic pumpkin pie but it’s made with fresh, pureed pumpkin (learn how to puree pumpkin here). It’s also dairy-free which is a super bonus — if you’re not dairy-free, just switch with whole milk and you’re good to go!
