Halloween Real Food Makeovers!

If you spend any time at all on Pinterest, no doubt you’ve seen all of the Halloween “food” ideas floating around lately.

Yes, “food” is intentionally placed  in quotes, as many of these ideas are not really food…not even close. What is my favorite example, you ask? No problem…this one I found on Pinterest tops the list (cough, cough)…

Kitty Litter Cake

 German chocolate cake mix
White cake mix
Vanilla pudding mix
Milk
Vanilla sandwich cookies
Green food coloring
Tootsie rolls
…oh, and of course the kitty litter tray and pooper-scooper…

YUCK!!!

This brief post is meant to show you that you can still peruse blog posts and sites that share *UNreal* food and still create lovely *real* food recipes. It’s totally possible, because I do it everyday…and you can, too!

Even with the stigma of Halloween and all of the horrific refined sugars, food colorings, and other fake ingredients that surround us, you just have to think outside of the box.

…literally, put down the trashy fake food boxes, friends, and look inside your fridge, freezer, and cupboard for inspiration on how to substitute *real* food ingredients.

I’m sharing a few ideas below that will hopefully inspire you to take those nasty Pinterest recipes and turn them into *real* food recipes.

  1. Undeniably believe that which you stated. Your favorite reason appeared to
be on the net the easiest thing to be aware of.
I say to you, I certainly get annoyed while people think about worries that they
plainly don’t know about. You managed to hit the nail upon the top and defined out the whole thing without having side-effects ,
people could take a signal. Will probably be back to get
    more. Thanks
