As the editor of the parenting section of ScratchMommy, I am so thrilled to be creating content with such an amazing team of writers. The parenting section will be a devoted space for discussing the challenges of parenthood, as well as sharing ideas on how to parent from a “from scratch” philosophy – wholesome, natural, friendly-to-the-environment, compassionate and forward-thinking. Ultimately, I want this space to be embracing of all view points, and like a really good friend, a warm hug on your best and worst days.

With that, let me introduce you to our Parenting Team!

Blog: Go Fit Mom

Bio: Jennifer enjoys exercise, clean eating, healthy living and the ever fascinating journey of mommy-hood. She loves to share her passion by connecting with other moms at GoFitMom.com. Jennifer is a faithful Christian, a devoted wife and mom to three young kiddos who constantly bring her tremendous joy and oodles of laughs.

What does parenting from scratch mean to you?: Parenting from scratch is literally a labor of love. By nature I’m not terribly domestic, so it can get a little interesting, but I’m always willing to put in a little more effort for my family. I haven’t burned the house down (yet), so thankfully most of my experiments eventually result in a small success.
