How to Make Homemade Whipped Cream
- ½ cup heavy whipping cream, organic if possible
- 1 Tbl real maple syrup (this is a fantastic brand)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract (like this)
- Place cream in mixing bowl
- Whip on high with your hand mixer for 3-5 minutes, until cream starts to stiffen
- Add in your maple syrup and vanilla; add more to taste if necessary
- Continue whipping for another minute or so to throughly mix together the ingredients
- Careful not to whip too long or you'll have butter
- Use immediately or store in the refrigerator
- To "refluff," whip for about 30 seconds
